Elaine Berke — Founder
and President
Elaine
Berke, founder and president of EBI Consulting,
Inc., has 25 years of experience as a consultant,
speaker, business leader, executive advisor,
and trainer. Passionate about leadership and
customer experience, Elaine is a frequent speaker
at conferences and events, including those sponsored
by Linkage, NEHRA (Northeast Human Resources Association), the International
Customer Service Association, and the American Society for Training and
Development.
Elaine
has been quoted in Fortune, Sales and Marketing Management, The Boston
Globe;
and published articles in Training Magazine, Management Review, Stephen
Covey's Executive Excellence, Best Practices in Customer Service
Newsletter, and other trade publications.
Before
EBI, Elaine held corporate positions in organization development, recruiting
and training, including management responsibility with a former General
Mills division. She has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and
an undergraduate degree with a major in English from Boston University.
Elaine Berke is on the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and the Board of Governors for The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. Elaine has provided board development, advisory, and strategic planning service for numerous non-profits and is a Visiting Scholar at Brown University.
